Eat Healthy -- Your Kids Are Watching

It should be no surprise that young children often follow their parents footsteps with the tremendous impact a parent has on his or hers young child. Eating healthy should be no different. A Michigan State University study has concluded that it’s best for lower-income mothers to adopt healthier eating habits, rather than using force and rewards to get their children to eat healthier. Instead of forcing and restricting kids to eat healthy, mothers should provide their kids with a healthy eating environment. Additional tips for parents include regularly scheduled meal and snack times, as well as offering smaller portions of healthier foods.
